In December 2009 we hosted Santa's Grotto in Wyndham Street, Bridgend, opposite Lloyds Bank, between 10am and 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th December.

All profits from Lions’ events go to charity but Santa asked us to see that in 2009 all profits went to the very special Bridgend Young Carers Project, which we were delighted to do as we can’t think of a better cause at Christmastime. The picture below shows Caryl Jones and Alison Jones of Bridgend Young Carers receiving a cheque for £800 from Lions President Godfrey Morris and Vice President Phil Davies.
