
All money raised by the Lion Club of Bridgend is used for Charitable purposes. Welfare activities include hosting an annual disco for the gateway club and providing Christmas hampers for the elderly and needy. Please also view our page on Youth Projects.
Since the club was formed in 1975 over £250,000 has been donated for various good causes. Most of the funds raised are spent in the Bridgend area. Recent donations include:

In addition many other donations have been made including a number to deserving individuals which for reasons of privacy of the recipient we do not publicise. All requests for donations are thoroughly investigated by the community services committee of the club before being presented to the club for a decision.
