Do you have any good quality unwanted books? If so please consider donating them to the Lions for the Annual Charity Book Fair. For the moment, following the success of the 2008 Book Fair which raised over £10,000 for good causes, the committee are taking a well earned rest from collecting books.
The committee will be suitably refreshed by October 2008 but in view of the proposed redevelopment of the YMCA at this moment in time the date and venue of the 2009 Book Fair is uncertain. We will post details on this site (and directly to those on our mailing list) as soon as we are aware of what is happening and whether we will have a suitable venue. We will then be delighted to receive your donations, so please keep them safe until October.
