Recent Events
This year, for the first time, we helped Father Christmas at Santa's Grotto on Friday and Saturday 11th & 12th and 18th & 19th December.
All funds raised were donated to Bridgend Young Carers
Tree of Light
The dedication of the Tree of Light took take place in the foyer of St Mary's Church on the 7th December 2009. A short dedication service was held with Christmas Carols led by St. Mary's School Choir.
Book Sale
In order to make way for new stock we held a one day Book Clearance Sale on the 17th October 2009. The event was well attended and as well as making room in our storeroom we raised over £1,500 for local good causes.
2009/10 President

We are now collecting Books in readiness for our 2010 Book Fair to be held between the 5th and 7th March 2010.

Swimmafun
Our annual Swimmafun will take place at Ynysawdre Swimming Pool on Sunday 25th April 2010. This is your chance to raise money for your Charity or group. Booking forms and Sponsor Forms are now available for download on our Swimmafun page

This brand new event brings together Bridgend Lions, Bridgend Athletic Club, Welsh Athletics and Bridgend Festivals to provide an afternoon of quality road racing in Bridgend Town Centre. See our main Festival of Races page for more details |
